Founded in Germany by Frida Lachher and Ludwig Hummel in 1925.
Laco, known for pilot watch, is one of the five companies that was authorized to deliver navigation watches for high accuracy and reliability to the German Air Force during World War II. (Other IWC, Lange&Söhne etc)
The pilot watch has a triangular mark at the 12 o'clock position that the pilot can recognize which is the top of the dial, a large onion shaped crown makes it easy to the pilot to operate without removing the glove. the Luminous needles and index can withstand at night flight; proprietary ingenuity such as processing has been striking.
