The manufacture started as a watch dial workshop by the great-great-grandfather Constant Stas of Founder Peter Stars in 1904. In 2007, it developed a movement that adopted the escape wheel made of silicium and in 2008 the fully invented Tourbillon "Manufacture Tourbillon" (limited to 188 pieces) using this escape wheel was announced. In 2015, they released Smart Watch "Horological Smart Watch" which adopted MotionX for the first time in the Swiss watch world. The average sales price for Frederique Constant is $1,006.
