In 1913, brothers Mario and Fratelli Prada opened a leather shop in Milan. The bags, made of rare materials from the world and high-quality leathers were popular, and it becomes the worship of the Italian royal family. After that, in 1978, Mario's granddaughter Miuccia Prada became owner and designer. A bag made of industrial waterproof nylon material "Pocono" which Mario used for travel bags was developed and became a topic all over the world. The average sales price for Prada eco is SFr585.
