Davosa started in 1993, but the history begins with the founder, Apel Frederick Hustler, who engaged in agriculture in the Jura Mountains of Switzerland and worked on the production of cases for pocket watches in 1861. His six sons, and grandchildren succeeded in the technique of making watches. The brothers founded a company in 1953.
